1).The government will amend two Acts to make privatization of public sector banks (PSBs) easier.

  • Amendments will be made to the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970 and the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1980.
